Duncan's Done

Too bad. Too bad also that Thompson didn't do better in S. Carolina. Someday we will have a conservative that can articulate conservative principles and ideals in a manner that even many of the looney left can understand. Until then, we have to go with cheap imitations. Moderates like McCain are no help to the nation in the long haul. Just a step or two above the average Democrat. We have to do better. We have to jump hard on those who think they understand what conservatism is all about and then show by their distorted rhetoric that they have no idea.

Still, when crunch time comes, and some form of "conservative lite" is the party nominee, I will support him. There is not one Dem running that is worthy of the presidency, and this country deserves far better than what the Dems would do to America.

We will have to settle for Rino Romney as the only viable alternative to the Socialists...

Seems so, Rick, if he continues to retain the most delegates. I guess as long as it ain't Paul...

It's really just too bad that people are voting for "change" and all that other emotional, non-substantive crapola that the Dems like to spew. Sad that some of the Reps are now doing it as well. My local newspaper has endorsed Obama and they point to a few inconsequential moves he made as Ill senator without mentioning his more heinous votes. They too are buying into the touchy-feely rhetoric. Hell in a handbag, my friend. Hell in a handbag.

BTW, welcome.

Yea - go and vote for 'flip flop' Mitt Romney! lol Shows how pathetic republican candidates are in this presidential election!!

american (and I emphasize the lower case "a"),

On their worst days, any of the Republican candidates would be a tolerable president, unlike any of the Dem losers. It's just too bad that the most conservative choices didn't run better campaigns and have the same attention as the current top four.

Actually, one cannot say Romney is a flip-flopper. He changed his mind once. Not more than once, which means he may have flipped, but he has yet to flop.

Mitt does seem to pander a bit. I like the fact that he's built a business and turner around another (the Olympics). The question is whether as prez he'd stay true to SOME ideals and principles when the heat's on. But again, if he's the guy, I've no problem punching his number over anyone the Dems might put forward. That's a no brainer. Funny thing is, so many with no brains are backing Obama.
