Notice Anything Particularly Familiar Here?

 https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2026/08/the-big-secret-about-teen-takeovers/

The above link is an essay about the "teen takeovers" too common these days.  While it highlights a long-standing problem with "real" media of refusing to make any reference to the race of the bad actors, there's something else in the article which relates to something we've been discussing lately.  Who can identify it?

The fact that the VAST majority are blacks. A large problem exists by calling them "teens" instead of young men and women. They get treated like children--juvenile delinquents--and therefore very little punishment--IF THEY ARE ARRESTED. Identifying them as what part of culture they belong to is racist.

Well, that one's kinda the focus of it, but not what I'm looking for. It might have come up in a previous post here, but certainly did in a conversation in a recent post at Craig's blog. The problem is Craig's been prolific in his postings lately so I don't know how far back one would have to look. But I think it's in one with a lot of comments. No worries. I'll fess up in a day or so.

The sainted MSM is clearly choosing to omit or obscure demographic information about some groups or people in order to forward a narrative.

OK. Here's what I was referencing, and it came in the second to last paragraph of the article:

" There’s also the suggestion that since black Americans have historically suffered from slavery and Jim Crow, the failings of present-day blacks — including lawlessness — should be overlooked, almost as a sort of non-monetary reparations."

This is a total Trabue-ism. Honest people know this does not in any way rationalize, legitimize or excuse the criminal behavior of black people who choose those behaviors. Nor does it stand as a reason to temper harsh response to it. Nor does it stand as a reason to ignore the issue is one strictly of low character and the lack of parental obligation. It's the reason the race of the perpetrators isn't mentioned in news accounts. But video footage tells us what's true as regard who the perpetrators are and it shouldn't be ignored for ANY reason.

For those of us who acknowledge that humans are individuals with agency and who should be held accountable for their actions, the above is assumed.

If the parent(s) had done their job and disciplined their kids, we see much less of this. Likewise the school and legal systems. If you allow bad behavior with no negative consequences bad enough to modify behavior, and provide a built in excuse, you can expect more of these roving bands of thugs.
