Another Good Reason To Vote Against Obama

With a hat tip to Neil over at 4SimpsonsBlog, I present this. The chick can sing. Check her out. Vote McCain. He's less crappy.

I just saw this and had to post it. Both a good parody and a good reminder of the type of company Barry keeps. In other words, more reasons. Hat tip to Sister Toldjah.

In a February 1 editorial, The Washington Times falsely claimed that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama "argued cold-bloodedly on the Illinois Senate floor that babies who survive botched late-term abortions should not be considered 'persons' because this would be tantamount to admitting 'that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a -- a child, a 9-month old -- child that was delivered to term.' " In fact, Obama was not discussing "late-term abortions" in the remarks the editorial highlighted; as is clear from his March 30, 2001, remarks on the state Senate floor, he was asserting that the bill in question, which was not limited to late-term abortions, would in effect "essentially bar abortions."

You can read the transcript of Obama's actual remarks on the floor of the State of Illinois 92nd General Assembly here.

He was using weasel words to rationalize his position. There is no indication that it would have banned all abortions, and even if he really thought it was unconstitutional he showed no interest in finding away to protect the children who had the audacity to be born alive.
