More Conversation: Possibly The Best Voice Out There

Independence Day just ended.  It is now the 5th.  Back to the conversation the left doesn't really want to have.  As we're told by "progressive" white guys to listen to black voices, and then admonished for only listening to conservative voices, as if we haven't heard the others, it seems clear that it is the "progressives" that have no interest in hearing all black voices out there.  In a previous post, I've provided a number of really solid black voices, most of which actually have substance and evidence carried and delivered by their voices.  Here, I am posting another from one of the best.  For Thomas Sowell, facts and evidence are paramount when it comes to suggesting "fixes" to what ails the black community.  This is a guy who knows marxism, having been a marxist himself in his younger days.  Now, at 90, he can make a leftist look stupid with very little effort, knowing them better than he knows himself, and of course, knowing the facts.

Among the problems plaguing the black community is education deficiency.  The left insists more money is the problem.  That's because the left is stupid.  Sowell's latest book, considered by himself as the most important of all the many he's written, is about charter schools and how the leftists that have run the education system in this country for decades have failed the minority student by ignoring the real needs in favor of spending other people's money...mostly on themselves.

If the two champions of the black community, Dan and feo the false priest, truly care about black lives, they need to watch intently this video from start to finish and then buy Sowell's book, and definitely more of them.  They have no clue.  Sowell will provide them:

I have no doubt they won't bother.  They prefer platitudes.

I agree that black folks voice a great diversity of opinions and marvelously argued points. The young black people I know here in Brooklyn are the best moral reasoners this nation has. They keep the rights of the individual and the concerns of the community in very fine balance and are able to call their sisters and brothers back to right behavior exceptionally well. White people cannot do that. We are supremely divided and antagonistic. The single most influential reason is that black folks need to be as sharp as can be in order to survive, sharper even to thrive. Because the dominant systems, institutional and unformed sociological powers war against their success. It's always been this way. But we white people can refuse all kinds of right behavior we demand others obey. If 130,000 Americans had lost their lives in four months during Obama's Presidency, half of all white people would be screaming traitor. But, then, if Obama had been married 3 times with children from 3 different women and paid off a porn star affair... well... he'd be local Chicago assemblyman only. If that.

But you think you have a found a defense in the diversity of black voices? Clearly not. You're absurd to even think it. What you have found is debate by reason. Something your people cannot do. "You doctors are asking us to refuse God's clean air, the very thing he wants in our lungs. You're going to hell for telling us to wear masks!" (Google it.)

Here's a black voice you cannot post. "I have rape-colored skin. My light-brown-blackness is a living testament to the rules, the practices, the causes of the Old South. If there are those who want to remember the legacy of the Confederacy, if they want monuments, well, then, my body is a monument. My skin is a monument. Dead Confederates are honored all over this country — with cartoonish private statues, solemn public monuments and even in the names of United States Army bases. It fortifies and heartens me to witness the protests against this practice and the growing clamor from serious, nonpartisan public servants to redress it. But there are still those — like President Trump and the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell — who cannot understand the difference between rewriting and reframing the past. I say it is not a matter of “airbrushing” history, but of adding a new perspective.... What is a monument but a standing memory?... And I ask you now, who dares to tell me to celebrate them? Who dares to ask me to accept their mounted pedestals?" https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/26/opinion/confederate-monuments-racism.html

Or this: "I have always been struck, in America, by an emotional poverty so bottomless, and a terror of human life, of human touch, so deep, that virtually no American appears able to achieve any viable, organic connection between his public stance and his private life.… This failure of the private life has always had the most devastating effect on American public conduct, and on black-white relations. If Americans were not so terrified of their private selves, they would never have become so dependent on what they call “the Negro problem.”

You're absurd to think diverse black voices lend any help to you. All the differences of opinions are rational arguments of reasoned debate on the left. How do I know? Well, one has to hold these two thoughts in one's head at the same time: 1. Black people don't thoroughly like the Democratic Party. They have tremendous disappointment with the white leadership and follow-through in it. 2. It's the only party where their humanity can have a presence at all.

ps Stan, we are talking about killing off the "whiteness" of white people, not the people of white people. Whiteness is not a real thing. It is a 400 year old ideological identity for the sole purpose of both justifying and repressing awareness of the murderous brutality of slavery, then Jim Crow, and now the refusal of normal police protections reserved for "whites" and full, equal citizenship.

I've allowed the two comments above because it's about the best one can expect from feo as regards "on topic" comments. Plus, I will be shredding them in time. I'll start with the short one, first.

"Whiteness" is not a construct of white people. That is, not white people who aren't Klan members and such. Rather, it is the construct of the white-guilt frauds like feo for whom race matters more than humanity. No one "justifies and represses" awareness of the nation's racial history...except for those like feo. And for today, "normal" police protections are for all, not just white people, and there's little evidence of rampant racism within law enforcement in this country. The stats don't bear out that black people are mistreated by cops at a greater rate than other people when apples to apples comparisons are presented. But them deeper the look at incidents of suspects "mistreated" by cops, regardless of skin color, the more we find suspects bringing about their mistreatment by their combative, resistant behavior. feo looks at this fact as some kind of defense of bully cops, because he's so steeped in pushing the BLM, cops-kill-blacks-because-they're-black narrative. And others like him, spurred on by the racist hatred of BLM-type activists, burn, loot and attack using the examples of deaths that are more rightly attributed to actions of the dead, than by the responses of the cops involved, even where the cop seems to be truly stupid or overly aggressive. Even bully cops can't justify bullying when suspects provide no resistance, and their fellow cops are more than likely happy to see them arrested and charged when they are proven to have acted criminally.

feo likes pretending he's black and that other white people are guilty of the lies by which he lives. At the same time, he lies pretending he lives among angels, because in his fantasy world, black people are somehow different (a racist view if ever there was one), the "best moral reasoners" he knows. Better than those to whom I've linked? Very, VERY doubtful, for those he cites aren't "reasoning" at all. And feo doesn't know what reasoning is.

More to come.

feo has indeed demonstrated his racism and self-loathing white guilt in his initial comment above. Speaking of the young black people feo regards as the "best moral reasoners" he knows (clearly he doesn't get out much), he says:

"They keep the rights of the individual and the concerns of the community in very fine balance and are able to call their sisters and brothers back to right behavior exceptionally well. White people cannot do that."

That's a very racist thing to say, indeed. He elaborates:

"We are supremely divided and antagonistic."

Also racist given the reality of the BLM movement as but one example. As Craig continually points out with Dan Trabue, feo sees the black race as one monolithic group, despite his token concession to a diversity of opinions. (By the way...the "marvelously argued points" come from the people I've offered in my previous posts, as well as Thomas Sowell.)

"The single most influential reason is that black folks need to be as sharp as can be in order to survive, sharper even to thrive."

This is absolutely true for anyone regardless of race. Excuse makers of all races whine they need to do more, that the deck is stacked against them, that others don't know the trouble they've seen. It's shameful and you don't see that sort of bullshit come out of the mouths of Col. Allen West or Dr. Ben Carson and others of their character.

"If 130,000 Americans had lost their lives in four months during Obama's Presidency, half of all white people would be screaming traitor."

Bullshit. If he'd have done the very same things Trump has done, he'd have gotten the same response from conservatives as Trump has gotten. That's because only lefties and race-hustlers respond according to skin color. So if there'd be half, it would be the left half, not the right.

"But, then, if Obama had been married 3 times with children from 3 different women and paid off a porn star affair... well... he'd be local Chicago assemblyman only. If that."

Nonsense, given the plethora of Democratic philanderers there's been over the years. The fact is, that there is little a Dem can do wrong if the party thinks he provides a good look to peddle to the American people and the Dem sheep. Obama was just such a person...no track record, all presentation without substance.

"But you think you have a found a defense in the diversity of black voices?"

No. I've found a defense in the fact based arguments of better people. People who are actual thinkers, not "feelers". Your cherry picking of the least scientific arguments don't help your position in the least. This is especially true given your "best" arguments are crap.

"You're absurd to think diverse black voices lend any help to you."

That's why I choose black voices that use facts and evidence that blow your positions out of the water.

"All the differences of opinions are rational arguments of reasoned debate on the left."

There are no rational arguments or reasoned debate from the left. That's true regardless of the skin color of the leftist.

"1. Black people don't thoroughly like the Democratic Party. They have tremendous disappointment with the white leadership and follow-through in it."

This is hilarious! Ever hear of Maxine Waters? Sheila Jackson Lee? Al Green? Frederica S. Wilson? Corey Booker? Ayanna Pressley? Ilhan Omar? How about this one guy that used to be around....Barack Obama? That's just federal level morons of color. The Dem Party has quite a few more in state and municipal level politics to go with the white morons of the party!! Indeed, in cities with the worst crime, most mayors are Dems and many are black, with black police chiefs and black school superintendents. Talk about an absurd thing to say!!!

"2. It's the only party where their humanity can have a presence at all."

Hard to believe anyone would say this with a straight face, especially when, even according to your own list of elections, they've continued to support the party that's done the least for them...ESPECIALLY since Trump was elected!!

So now, from this point, I want to hear a direct response to something...ANYTHING...said by any of the black voices I've presented and try to find fault with it. Make sure you put the time of the video when it was said, so I can go back and review it. You can't be trusted to paraphrase or quote honestly.
