Hypocrisy at its best

As this Americans for Truth article points out, groups like GLAAD aren't all that concerned about hate speech and bigotry after all.

After a recent incident on the court, wherein Kobe Bryant hurled a slur at a ref after the ref made a call with which Kobe disagreed, the skies darkened, the earth shook, and GLAAD and other pro-homo activists shrieked in dismay that Kobe would dare utter an eptithet they consider to be THE WORST THING IN THE WORLD!!!! How dare he? He needs a beating and severe psychological re-formatting!

So the Lakers and church groups (most likely liberally-leaning church groups) and GLAAD has gotten together to fight against such awful things.

Yet, as we see from the linked article, they don't much care about hate speech and bigotry really. What they care about is their idea of hate speech and bigotry, that anything that is opposed to their agenda be considered hateful and bigoted. It isn't hate speech that bothers them, but to whom the speech is directed and from whom it is spoken.

This is a typically leftist situation. At another blog I visit, I'm often warned against incivility, but recently compadres of the host have been given carte blanche to open fire upon me. (Don't worry---I can take it---no one there is clever enough in the art of insult to do more than make fools of themselves by attempting any)

GLAAD honoring such a scumbag as they have proves the point I'm making here. Because the left, and homo-enabling outfits like GLAAD, have decided that homosexuality is normal and equal morally to heterosexuality, they spend a lot of effort trying to convince the world that the least opposition to their cause is tantamount to hate. When such sad and pathetic people can successfully demonize those who are the right side of the issue being debated, it scares off the weaker among us from standing for truth and honesty, and makes their lame arguments and evidences easier to swallow. Well, not so much easier, but people have pretend it doesn't taste so bad.

Well, some of us know their nonsense is poisonous to our culture and are not content to simply let them take control of the debate without a fight. Their position is based on lies and lies must be opposed.

Continue to fight. Continue to pray for their repentence. Continue to provide avenues to address their condition so that they may learn to deal with their temptations like adults are supposed to. They're still people despite how corrupted they are and they need help.

Good points, Marshall. Their hypocrisy is astounding. I would expect their "Christian" supporters to hold them accountable for that, but I'd be shocked if it happened.

Parklife should let GLAAD know that as long as the people are unknown then hate speech is OK. It is only bad if you are as famous as Kobe. Check.

I see Parklife is a mind reader and inconsistent as well.

This is simple, folks. The Bible is the word of God. The Bible could not be more clear that homosexual behavior is a sin. Therefore, as a Christian the hateful thing would be to encourage them to continue this behavior.

The truth sounds like hate to those that hate the truth.

The real homophobes are those who deny God, the Bible, natural law and common sense because they are so afraid of being politically incorrect. Grow up, people.

"... but nobody cares about Joe Jervis."

Are you saying GLAAD people are nobodies?! Hater! Hate speech!

If anyone is wondering about whom Neil is speaking, I must let you know that Parklife, AKA "Troll-boy", is a special case. He's a seriously defective individual who has worn out his welcome. He's a turd of human being who stops by only to show us all how deprived he is of cleverness, intelligence or substance. Until such time that he chooses to risk exposing the true level of intelligence he may or may not possess, I have decided to delete completely his sorry comments. When he posts something that resembles a true attempt at conversation, addressing the point in a serious manner (and of course I am the sole judge of whether or not the punk has achieved that simple standard---so far, he's unable to achieve even the simple), I will let it stand for anyone who might care to respond.

My standing rule has been to let idiots expose their own idiocy. He has abused even that rule by his success in being the most exceptional idiot I've seen in awhile. I'm sure he's very proud, but he gets no forum here to flash his brilliance at being the very opposite of brilliant.

I check my emails at least twice a day. His pathetic comments (I ache for him they are so pathetic) last only as long as it takes for me to find out he's visited again. He obviously has few distractions at the home. Pray for him.

Whoa, wait a minute . . . are you saying Parklife is worse than Feo? Wow, that is pretty bad. Like I've said, Job has the patience of Marshall. Good for you to clean things up on this one.

For all his faults, and they seem many and obvious, Feo sticks his neck out. Troll-boy simply bores.

I don't think an entire article needed to be written to explain why GLAAD honors a hateful homosexual blogger who routinely mocks Christians and vilifies pro-family conservatives with crude putdowns.

The answer to that question is a simple one:

Why? Because he is a hateful homosexual blogger who routinely mocks Christians and vilifies pro-family conservatives with crude putdowns.

There is no hypocrisy here. This is the mindset of many homosexuals in general, and certainly every militant homosexual. There are no Christians in the homosexual community. If there were, they wouldn't be homosexuals.

Notice the troll-boy's comment. It is perhaps the fourth or fifth attempt by him to post it. Note also the "LOL" indicating clinical idiocy, as he laughs at everything.

I left it posted to demonstrate what a clown he truly is. The quote he presented was a reference to the very people he thinks he is defending, the very people towards whom he believes we exhibit bigotry. Mark thinks there is no hypocrisy in their selection of the jerk to whom they bestowed honor; that GLAAD and other such organizations routinely exhibit the same behavior toward righteous people who support truth.

So troll-boy would be right to laugh at that suggestion, since the hypocrisy lies in their engaging in the very behavior of which they accuse their opponents.

But somehow I doubt that that's what troll-boy has in mind. No. Troll-boy has issues with those who care about the harm people do to themselves by wallowing in abnormal behavior, and who defend morality while opposing the attempts to legitimize IMmoral behavior. To troll-boy, and unfortunately so many others, that constitutes bigotry and strangely, homophobia, an unnatural fear of hominids, humans or men.

Indeed!
