It Never Ends With These People!

 https://www.theblaze.com/news/joe-scarborough-says-jesus-never-talked-about-abortion

The above link is to an article describing another leftist moron and his perverse corruption of Scripture.  Like so many "progressives" who pretend to be Christian, as well as those who don't, they pretend that because Jesus doesn't actually say something specific to an issue they support or defend, then, by golly, we who truly revere the Risen Lord are wrong to suggest what a proper Christian is obligated to believe.

We know that God has prohibited murder.  We know that He regards all human beings as having been created in His image and likeness and by virtue of that fact, we are prohibited from murdering each other.  We also know that from the moment of conception, one is a person endowed by Him with the unalienable right to life.  We know this because science affirms that we are all living people from that moment, that at that moment, we are the product of the very act designed to bring about new human life.  There is absolutely no way to "reason" around what is so blatantly true with regard to this issue.

But so devoted are these monsters to the "right" to get laid, that they have convinced themselves...or pretend to have...that a person is not a person so long as that person needs to be eliminated and any obligation to that person along with it.  They mask this reality with lamentations about women who in reality simply don't wish to step up and deal with the consequences of their actions, or simply the consequences of living life.  They are scum for their abject disregard for the lives and welfare of the most innocent and defenseless of our kind, pretending that whatever the "mother" is going through is somehow more important than the life brought about by their action or the actions of others imposed upon them.

The truth is that nothing done to any woman justifies a response to it like the willful murder of her own child.  She may not have wanted to conceive, but having conceived she has a moral duty to the child now growing within her.  This in no way relieves the man involved of any responsibility.  But the man doesn't carry the child.  The woman does and ultimately no one else bears the fullest responsibility for the care and welfare of the conceived.

Rather than pretend Jesus said nothing about abortion specifically, I challenge these immoral degenerates to provide any evidence that Jesus would not care.  Until any of these fake Christians can do that, then their condescension is as empty as that spot where a soul is supposed to be.  They disgust me.

1. After all these years the Molech-worshiping ghouls still use that stupid argument. The argument that Jesus never said anything about homosexual/bisexual/trans/etc. behavior (or abortion, etc.) is often used to pretend that He didn't care about the issue and that it must not be very important, and that those who bring it up must be the divisive ones.

But that argument fails on many levels. If a church leader uses it, you can be confident that he or she is ignorant and/or malicious. It plays on the ignorance of the hearers who could only agree if they didn't know what the Bible taught. After all, if you are going to appeal to what Jesus taught, then that is the place you must go.

Yes, He did say something about it, but atheists and the theological Left ignores or distorts it as they do with many things about Jesus and his teachings. Note how Jesus defeats oxymoronic "same-sex marriage," same-sex parenting, transgenderism and even Darwinian evolution in one simple passage. No true follower of him should disagree on any of those topics.

Matthew 19:4–5 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?"

And yes, He said that in the context of the Pharisees' question about divorce, but Jesus teaching went straight to his real intention for marriage. It would apply to any question about marriage.

2. Here are a "few" more reasons why that sound bite is so egregiously fallacious.

Arguing from silence is a logical fallacy. Using their logic, pedophilia, bestiality, child abuse, rape, drunk driving, climate change, etc. must be no big deal because Jesus didn't specifically mention them.

Jesus is God and part of the Trinity that inspired all scripture. He affirmed the Old Testament and authorized the New Testament. So He agrees with everything in the Bible, including supporting the Old Testament law to the last letter. The "red letters" (i.e., the direct quotes of Jesus when He was on the earth as a man) weren't silent on these topics in the sense that they reiterated what marriage and murder were. And the red letters said to read all the letters (Matthew 4:4).

- 100% of the verses addressing homosexual behavior describe it as sin in the clearest and strongest possible terms.
- 100% of the verses referring to God’s ideal for marriage involve one man and one woman.
- 100% of the verses referencing parenting involve moms and dads with unique roles (or at least a set of male and female parents guiding the children).
- 0% of 31,173 Bible verses refer to homosexual behavior in a positive or even benign way or even hint at the acceptability of homosexual unions of any kind. There are no exceptions for "committed" relationships.
- 0% of 31,173 Bible verses refer to LGBT couples parenting children.

Examples: He agrees with this: Romans 1:26–27 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

He agrees with this: Jude 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

He agrees with this: 1 Corinthians 6:9–11 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

He emphasized many other important issues that these Leftist theologians completely ignore (Hell, his divinity, his being the only way to salvation, etc.).

He was equally "silent" on issues that these folks treat as having the utmost importance (capital punishment, war, welfare, universal health care, taxpayer-funded abortions, etc.).

Abortion and homosexual behavior simply weren't hot topics for 1st-century Jews. They actually thought children were a blessing and they had laws against homosexual behavior. And note how it took Satan a couple thousand years to convince even atheistic countries to accept these behaviors and many of the largest ones (e.g., China, Russia) still hold to traditional marriage.

And the Gospels never claimed to include everything He said. John specifically notes that the whole world couldn't hold it all! (John 21:25).

He was a devout Jew and upholder of the law, so the burden is on the pro-gay theology side: Where is that verse when Jesus condones homosexuality?

And Jesus never said anything about the "sin" of criticizing homosexual behavior, so using their logic it must be OK!

So your challenge is to use the Bible to show me where I am wrong about what Jesus said. The burden of proof is on those claiming He was truly silent on the topic. If you can't use the Bible, then you are already conceding defeat.

So very well said that I chose to leave the double-posted second comment. At least for now.

Anyway, your comments are spot on. Anyone who truly "seriously and prayerfully" study Scripture cannot hold with the Morning Schmo or anyone like him. There's simply no way to believe God...whether it's God the Father, Son or Holy Ghost...could possibly support abortion. And it's not Scriptural to state that there is any exception for the life of the mother, though I would not insist anyone whose life is on the line to buck up and take any chances. Yet, in this day and age...unlike in the times depicted in Scripture...we know there is no legitimate instance in which an abortion is necessary to save anyone's life. The same liars who insist "Jesus never said..." also lie about such a need existing. What's worse, if they gave a flying rat's ass about the lives of children or the mothers who wish to murder them in utero, they would send money to whomever is seeking the means by which contraception can be 100%, or other medical means of sparing all lives concerned. But that's never the true point. The true point is simply to get laid without consequence and to do away with the consequences in such a way that we can pretend we've done no wrong. Again. They disgust me.

ATTENTION:

Going out of town for a time. Likely unable to post any new comments from visitors. Don't let that stop you from trying. I don't know what the internet situation will be while I'm away. Also, I'll be focused on the wedding of my only child, which is all that matters during that time. God is good.
