Things Too Many Don't & Won't Consider

In the last comment thread, Craig and I got into it again about Trump.  I have no problem with such debate, as it's actually necessary given the state of the nation.  But as luck often has it, I came upon something that relates to that discussion in a very direct way.  I present it here in two ways:

First, by virtue of what led to me to the more detailed speech on the subject, which is a synopsis from the perspective of one who was not (and might still not be) a great fan of Trump:

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/07/i_was_wrong_about_trump.html

The author admits he focused too much on Trump's particular manner and personality and I'm convinced far too many who should know better do so as well.  Indeed, I can say the same of myself with regard to how I thought of him prior to the 2016 general election, when I was totally opposed to a guy like him serving as president of these United States of America.

Then came his four years and what follows is the type of objective regard of Trump which those four years must compel of any voter:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-GAw1lLWJA

I acknowledge it won't be enough for some.  Certainly the stupid of the left will never see things in such a way, but as with the last post, I speak not to them with this post, but to those who are more often than not like minded.

Here I must reiterate once more that I am not so much married to Trump, despite his good work as president, but married to the worry there exists no one capable in the manner he has shown himself to be at a time when we absolutely need someone as determined and able to do what must be done for the good of the country.  Only DeSantis has shown himself to be such a person, and he's not running.

I sincerely and fervently hope that whomever wins the GOP nomination in '24 will know better than to give back ground this guy gained for us all.  Too much is at stake and as bad off as we now are for having rejected him in 2020, we can easily be far worse off by the time that election rolls around.

Who If Not Him?

I'm very much interested in legit arguments for an option for president in '24 if Trump is not among them.  Thus, I offer this post as a forum for those leaning to starboard to provide suggestions for who they'd like to see run at that time, and why.  I don't think DeSantis will run, and he could really prove himself worthy of mass support if he serves another term as Florida governor first.  And while I think he could step in immediately and be effective in the same way he's been effective in Florida, he's also setting an example of what a good governor should look like and another term would go a long way toward really cementing that in the minds of people of other states.

So if not Trump, then who?  I still like Ted Cruz.  I like Mike Pompeo, though I need to study his record more deeply.   Tom Cotton's another possibility.  Who do you think would be good and why?

As I said, this post is meant for those who lean conservative, but I'm always up for a good laugh, so if lefties can't help themselves, it would be fun to see which moron they'd support.

Our Butthead In Chief: Part The Third---Too Huge A Task

Since that fateful day when we learned the 2020 election was stolen from the best president we've had in decades, I've hoped to have a running series of posts dealing with the consequence of so many having rejected Donald Trump back then.  That "consequence" is none other than Joe Biden: Destroyer.  In my "discussions" on social media, evidence is plentiful of those most moronic of TDS sufferers that actually believe we are still somehow better off by having denied Trump a second term.  It amazes me anyone could ever so much as hint as such a thing, even jokingly.   There's no way to describe just how stupid that position is, and by "stupid", I mean that in the most unambiguous and direct manner possible, with all the hurt feelings which it should provoke.  Those who rejected Trump are deserving of scorn and derision at the very least for the harm which has befallen the nation since that dark day.

But there's a struggle to decide just how to proceed with the plan here.  Every time I feel like I have an idea of just what Biden blunder should be the subject of a post, more serious blunders take place or are revealed.  It makes one's head spin to consider all the ways he's caused harm and all the nuances within each of those ways which have manifested or will manifest.  There's just so much.  From the arming of the Taliban with weapons far more destructive than what he wants to take from us, to the arming of the Ukranians with weapons far more destructive than what he wants to take from us, to the tax dollars each of just those two questionable acts cost us.   The running up of the debt to the running up of the price of just about every damned thing the average American would want or need to buy.

And then there's his lying.  This guy lies in a way only a Louisville moron would pretend Donald Trump lied, but for real and in ways far more damaging.  For example, a routine lie of Biden's is the "Putin Price Hike" or the "Putin Gas Price Hike".  This buffoon creates an inflationary nightmare and blames it boldly on Putin...which leads to another lie, which is that Putin is the great evil of our time, while between Biden and Xi Jinping, Vlady only comes in third at best.  And between Biden and Xi, I have to give the prize to Stutterin' Joe because his stupidity (gosh, I hope it's stupidity!) has greased the skids for everything Xi, and for that matter Putin, hope to do.

So I'm beginning to believe it's enough to state the obvious and leave it at that.  That opens me up to lame criticisms, but absolutely won't lead to any evidence that Biden's elevation to the Big Chair was in any way intelligent or pleasing to God.  The harm we all now suffer is due to that moronic rejection of Trump.  That's not even debatable, and it has manifested in so many ways I'm now left with this inability to choose just how to go about commenting.  I'm sure to leave out so much as there is so much wrong.  We'll see how this plays out.  I just needed to express my frustration.

If Dan Says "Stay Away", Part 3

Continuing on with the moronic, we now come to the what is possibly the worst of it:

"There simply is no corresponding set of "liberal conspiracy theories" that are as common and widespread and widely taken seriously."

This is as astoundingly false as anything Dan has ever said...and that's truly saying something.

"In fact, I did a search and just couldn't find anything serious."

Really.  Where did he search?  His socks and underwear drawer?  But here's the thing:  Dan once again is dictating what counts as "common, widespread or serious".  How convenient.  What this means is that he can once again insist what he regards as "right wing conspiracy theories" as "common, widespread or serious", while describing left wing conspiracies as UNcommon, NOT widespread and UNserious.  This is typical Dan-style lying.  Well, I've shown where those conspiracies he listed were far from widely believed or taken seriously by the average conservative and which weren't even properly presented, but purposely contorted to disparage conservatives and which weren't even "theories" at all, but beliefs based on facts, evidence and reality.  Those like Dan dismisses them in the manner described above.

But as to a lack of any leftist parallels...well, that suggests what he said about "right wing conspiracy theories" was true in the first place.  IF they are, then there are indeed parallels to the extent the left believes all manner of crap as if proven.  But the truth is, they go way beyond what he wants to believe is true of conservatives.  His first lie is what begins this post, followed by his doubling down that he couldn't find any leftist parallels.  Maybe he should have tried searching the internet.  That's what I did, and you'll see what I've found.

https://i2i.org/left-wing-conspiracy-theories/

https://insidesources.com/tag/liberal-conspiracy-theories/

https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/sep/21/speaking-qanon-conspiracies-check-out-these-gems-l/

This next one argues that "conspiracy theories" are no less common among the left-wing as the moral.

https://www.realclearscience.com/blog/2020/07/23/how_the_left_fools_themselves_into_thinking_the_right_are_conspiracy_theorists.html

...as does this one, and it also affirms such behavior is not on the rise.

https://www.niskanencenter.org/conspiracy-beliefs-are-not-increasing-or-exclusive-to-the-right/

Now, I didn't do more than a cursory read of these and other links I chose against posting, but the Russian Collusion Hoax is an obvious one which might be among the links above.  Also, the lefty morons like Dan still like to believe Trump is racist, with their very own Joey "Which One Is My Wife" Biden still repeating the "good nazis in Charlottesville" lie.  How many lefties still believe Trump urinated on a bed in Russia because Obama slept in it?  How many believe he grabs women by the crotch, like Dan and some of his leftist "enemy of the people" news sources still do?  Then of course there's the conspiracy that there are more than two genders, that abortion doesn't kill a person, that Border Control Agents on horses whipped innocent Haitians.

If a "conspiracy theory" is a falsehood one needs to prove and support with evidence and data in order for a conservative to be taken seriously, there is far, far more bullshit the lefties...especially those like Dan...spew as truth.  Hell...just read Dan's blog for a few days, and you'll have your fill of falsehoods.

Indeed, I haven't scratched the surface of all the nonsense the left puts forth.  We're watching an example of leftist conspiracy theory with the kangaroo court Jan 6 hearings.  Lies are essential for the left, for the Democrat Party, for "progressive" "Christians" and they present them as truth in a far more "this is gospel truth" manner than the wildest conspiracy theorist of the type Dan means when he use the term so pejoratively.

Dan encourages us:  "Don't lie down with pigs in their stupidly false claim pit."

We don't.  We don't lie with leftists/Democrats/socialists/"progressives" and fake Christians like Dan.

Danny Deception finishes with three links...two of which are far more critically biased to the left than the first of them, and all of which I read when I first saw his drivel posted.  Frankly, I'll need to re-read them in order to comment on them at this point.  I really don't want to put myself through it again, though I likely will, at which point I'll address the crapola therein.  Stay tuned (but don't hold your breath).

If Dan Says "Stay Away", Part 2

Continuing on with Dan's nonsense about right-wing "conspiracy theories"....

"The media is an enemy of the state"

To begin, this is not accurately presented.  The proper way to say it...as Trump has said it...is that the media is the enemy of the people, since "state" can refer to the government.  But the media is a tool of the leftist governmental animals we call, "the Democrat Party".  Nor is it a "conspiracy theory" so much as a blatant and obvious reality all honest people easily see in real time.  Now, I'm not going to spend too much time on this issue given I've done two or three posts on the problem with links to a multitude of examples of media malfeasance.  Instead, I'll just once again refer to the willful withholding of information regarding the Hunter Biden laptop scandal which was shown to have made a huge difference in the 2020 election outcome.  Considering the incredible damage the Biden administration has done to this nation, this one act of media partisanship completely validates the claim that the leftist media is the enemy of the people.

"Obama was not a US citizen"

Setting aside this was initiated by Dan's own party, it was a claim which could easily have been put to bed had it been addressed from the time Hillary Clinton...or people in her campaign...first suggested it:

 https://thepoliticalinsider.com/7-news-stories-2008-prove-hillary-started-obama-birtherism/

There continued questions regarding Obama's place of birth as well as the veracity of that which was presented as his birth certificate because of what was started by Hillary.

What's more, this story goes back to the previous issue of the press being the enemy of the state.  Rather than dig into the story when it was first brought about, the media...even Fox...chose not to pursue it despite indications it might be true, including statements by Obama and members of his family.  The press has no business running interference for any politician of either party, but rather, they're to run interference for the unvarnished truth.  Should Obama have been denied the presidency?  Well, it's way too freakin' late now, isn't it?  And that's by design.  A lot easier to ignore a claim than to put in the journalistic effort to confirm or rebut it.  Indeed, Kamala Harris doesn't satisfy all Constitutional criteria, either, but don't hold your breath waiting for the leftist media to confirm or rebut it, unless it serves the party to do so.

In any case, and now especially, there weren't too many who focused on the birther issue anyway, but Dan needs to believe it was a belief widely held to pad the list.  Most people were more concerned the media didn't feel it their obligation to honestly investigate it.

""Climate change" is fake science"

This is another claim inaccurately presented by Dan the liar.  What honest intelligent people of the right acknowledge is that the left is lying...or is incredibly stupid...in promoting the policies they demand and how without them we're doomed.  None...or infinitesimally few...of their predictions regarding climate have come true, none of their promotion of "clean energy" are currently viable alternatives and our nation's need to finance the "climate change" policies in other nations is anything more than another leftist redistribution of wealth.   The "science" the left spews is false.  What's fake is their promotion of it as an "existential threat".  There is no greater threat to our nation than the left.

""Covid" is fake science and Fauci et al are spreading lies"

Of course this isn't a "theory" of any kind at all, but is a conspiracy by Fauxci and his kind.  There was never any need for any lock downs, for instance, and that was obvious very early on.  There was plenty of evidence it did no good and enough proving it did harm, but for reasons unrelated to public health, the left persisted in their Covid fascism for as long as they could.  The need for masking was without scientific basis, yet the left demanded it and still one needn't look too hard to find many who still wear them...outside...in their cars...in 90 degree heat.  They went out of their way to deny access to information regarding preventative measures.  To pretend that Fauxci "et al" aren't spreading lies is itself a lie.  Thus, not a conspiracy "theory" at all.

"The Clintons killed Epstein, Foster, Rich and others to silence them"

Dan may have actually hit on one here.  Then again,  it's strange how many people connected to them died mysteriously:

https://humansbefree.com/2019/08/list-of-71-clinton-associates-who-died-mysteriously-or-committed-suicide-before-testimony.html

https://hnewswire.com/complete-list-of-clinton-associates-who-allegedly-died-mysteriously-or-committed-suicide-before-testimony/

Probably just a coincidence.

"The earth is only -6,000 years old and any evidence to the contrary was placed there by Satan...?"

Never heard this one.  I mean, I've heard of "Young Earth" theories, but a conspiracy that Satan planted evidence to make it look older?  Never heard anyone say that.  I have heard Dan mock YoungEarthers in this or a similar manner.  So as there is evidence for a young earth, I'm guessing the "conspiracy theory" is that bit about Satan.  Dan's mocked me, in fact, with this absurd notion of planted evidence when I suggested what his "experts" insist is proof of an old universe is simply the result of human limitation.  It's not that anyone...such as God...is trying to fool anyone into believing the universe is old, but only that we don't have the means of proving the age one way or another.  What we do know is that old universe "experts" are keen to dismiss that which young earth proponents present to make their case.  So if there's a conspiracy at all, it's to stifle that which conflicts with old earth interpretations of data.  The young earth position agrees with Scripture.  Old earth people are mostly leftists and atheists, so it's important for them to oppose young earth narratives.  But we'll find out one way or the other soon enough.  I don't much think about it.

"The "homosexual agenda""

If Dan's beloved immoral reprobates didn't actually express their plans for the culture, this might count as a "conspiracy theory".  But what they intend is beyond any doubt or argument, so I don't know why Dan would put this on his laughable list...except that he's so enamored of sexual immorality he needs to disparage and demonize those who revere God's Will on the issue of human sexuality and morality.

"One set of crazy stupidly false claims after another, promoted as if they are real or that they MIGHT be real."

You know what would work really well here?  Some kind of fact-based, evidence-based counter argument to any claim made by a conservative or right-winger Dan and his lefty lunatics find problematic.  Just imagine if he ever produced anything like that!

"Because of this endless cascade of "alternate facts" and stupidly false claims, we just have to start holding Trump-style/supporting "conservatives" to a strict, "Prove it with data" set of guidelines."

The problem here, of course, is the notion that some dumbass like Dan would be in charge of coming up with these "guidelines" which no doubt will be not only legitimate, but equally applied to what lefties want to insist is true.  I mean, good gosh, this clown can't even support the notion there's a "Trump-style" conservatism which somehow differs substantially from classic conservatism.  Of course, Dan has no idea what conservatism is and he's not about to hold himself to any strict "Prove it with data" guideline to explain it.

I'm going to cut this off here and then pick up the rest of the laugh fest with Part 3 later.  Stay tuned.

If Dan Says "Stay Away", Look More Closely

Ducky Dan has posted an incredibly goofy comment in two places.  One was in the comment section of a recent post of mine, https://marshallart.blogspot.com/2022/06/double-standard-dan.html on July 2, 2022 at 9:54 AM, and at the same time thought it good enough to make a post of it at his blog here:  https://throughthesewoods.blogspot.com/2022/07/stay-away-from-conspiracy-theorists.html.  Thus, you can reference his "thoughts" at either for your convenience.  I'm going to respond and as there is so much "Dan" within it, it could take more than one post.  We'll see how it goes.  Let's begin:

Dumbass...I mean, Ducky Dan starts of with this laugher:

"One thing that we all have to keep  in mind is that today's conservatives are especially in need of being forced to support their claims precisely because so many conservatives have bought into so many conspiracy theories."

This statement alone could be enough to do a post, but I'll try to be succinct.  When progs use the term "conspiracy theory", it is a pejorative meant to diminish, disparage or otherwise demonize the typically center-right individual who is speaking as well as what that individual is saying.  The prog wants anyone who might be exposed to what is said by a center-right individual to immediately discount what is said as untrue and unworthy of honest consideration.  What is said by the center-right person may indeed be untrue or inaccurately presented, but the prog won't take the chance of finding out, because progressives are liars who can't bear truth and reality when truth and reality isn't convenient or conducive to their goals.

A "conspiracy" is an unlawful, harmful, or evil plan formulated in secret by two or more persons.  What Dan will go on to list are actual acts being perpetrated out in the open by those he supports, though Dan will misrepresent them in one way or another, or attribute to conservatives in general that which hardly anyone really believes or into which anyone takes serious interest.  In short, anything a prog wishes to avoid confronting he will often label a conspiracy "theory", as if it can't be pointed out or to with a reasonable degree of certainty.

And of course, Dan speaks of "today's" conservatives as if he has any idea what conservatism is or looks like, and thus what a conservative...of any period in American history...believes.

"From the way out there types like Q-Anon and the Great Replacement Theory nuts to the more day-to-day insane theories like"

I've never met anyone, or read of anyone, who puts much weight or credence into what Q has ever reported.  Indeed, "
According to a USA Today/Suffolk University poll, only 4 percent of Trump voters have a favorable view of QAnon."  ---https://www.westernjournal.com/new-poll-shatters-lefts-qanon-narrative-4-trump-supporters-believe/.

And while Dan likes to pretend only the right thinks about the so-called "Great Replacement Theory", the truth is the left has promoted the reality of demographic change in America, as well as expressed a level of happiness at the thought that "white men" will soon be in the minority.  What's more, the left has expressed joy at the notion their power in this country will increase as a result:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOUurr_a9hs  (Jump to 5:00 mark)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gz_fc93YYkg

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/05/the_new_racial_hatred.html

The left wants to pretend talking about demographic change is not the same as the GRT, but that's exactly what the GRT is, though it's worse than merely racial makeup, but more about political power.  The left prefers the focus stays on race because that's what they do.

Now let's look at Dan's list of so-called "conspiracy theories":

"The gov't wants to take my guns away"

This is no "theory".  Lefty liars will pretend they're only looking to regulate..."common sense gun control" they call it.  But as we've seen with buffoons like "Beto" O'Rourke say, "Hell, yes, we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47." after demonstrating the will to lie about the purpose of the AR-15 as a military weapon...a common tactic of the lying left.

https://www.lifezette.com/2022/06/democrats-admit-to-planning-to-take-your-guns/

https://thepoliticalinsider.com/must-see-5-specific-times-democrats-wanted-confiscate-guns/

https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/12/politics/beto-orourke-guns-democratic-debate/index.html

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/this-democratic-congressman-wants-to-take-your-guns-away-at-least-hes-honest

https://conservative-daily.com/todays-action-alerts/details-how-democrats-plan-to-take-your-guns (how policies will make it hard to purchase and maintain possession of firearms)

https://lidblog.com/take-away-all-our-guns/ (includes other ways the left has openly lied)

There are tons of examples of Dems and lefties seeking to take away guns from the American people, either directly or incrementally.

"The election was stolen"

This is one of Dan's favorites.  He points to this all the time as if it is absolutely settled that the 2020 presidential election was the most secure and perfect election ever in the history of elections.  But Dan has never done anything more than to provide examples of people saying the election was fair, or there was no evidence of a stolen election, or that there was no evidence there was enough cases of fraud to change the outcome...yada, yada, yada.  But what liars like Dan can't do is prove that claims of fraud and irregularity have been confirmed as false, because so very few claims have ever been adjudicated.  He can't dare discuss states like Georgia and Pennsylvania who had altered their election rules without the authority of their legislatures as both their state constitutions and the US Constitution demand.  He can't dare discuss how Big Tech and leftist media suppressed stories detrimental to Biden and how such affects perceptions among the electorate.  These and other of the many pieces of evidence for the just claim need to be scrutinized to have any way of knowing whether or not there was enough fraud and malfeasance to overturn the outcome.  What's more, there are still stories dealing with various forms of voter fraud being reported.  We may never learn the truth, but it's far from a "conspiracy theory" to claim the election was stolen.  It's more a certainty.

""Election fraud" in 2016 cost Trump the popular vote"

Not something over which too many got worked up, but not a "conspiracy theory", either.

https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/trump-is-right-millions-of-illegals-probably-did-vote-in-2016/

https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-vindicated-study-shows-57-million-illegals-joseph-curl

https://cblwomen.org/how-many-illegals-vote/

https://conservativefiringline.com/many-illegals-voted-2016-presidential-election/

But then, why wouldn't illegals vote?  They had Obama's welcome to do so:

https://www.unclesamsmisguidedchildren.com/treason-obama-tells-illegals-ok-vote/

"*The gov't is being taken over by a cabal of HOllywood pedophile liberals
*Hillary Clinton and Democrats were running a child-peddling operation out of a pizza joint in DC"

I put these two together since they're really the same "theory" which was attributed to "Q", which is not particularly regarded as worthy of consideration by no more than about 4% of Trump supporters...which means a far, far fewer amount of Americans in general, but also of conservatives in general, since there are a goodly portion of conservatives who are "NeverTrumpers".  Then again, given the growth of lefties who defend pedophilia, and the Epstein/Maxwell case which failed to investigate clientele, it wouldn't be a stretch to consider this might be more truth than "theory".

I'm going to cut it off there for now.  I'll pick this up again later.  But we can see that what Dan regards as "conspiracy theory" is just what I suggested, that it is no more than a means to stifle and ignore concerns of the right.  More importantly with regard to Ducky Dan, he has no true argument against any of these claims except to dismiss them in this way.  It helps him sleep at night to believe the leftist crap is protected.
