It Seems Stupid Reigns

So, here in SC, it's now just about 2:30AM and the midterms appear to be a disaster.  Stupid won in far too many cases (barring full totals changing what I'm seeing at the moment...many are results after 99% reporting).

In my state, the stupidity of putting Darlene Graham in the race paid dividends for evil, and now we have the abysmal Annie Andrews for six years in the Senate, and women and the conceived yet unborn have one less champion on their side.  One less person to move the Save Act forward to implementation.

In my district, my choice lost there as well and not only will we have a Dem, but also the less attractive of two females.  Nancy Mace...who this Nancy LeCore will replace...referred to the 1st District as "purple", so I guess it shouldn't too surprising, despite how disappointing it is.  What this will mean for the state is likely not going to be positive, and it certainly won't be any better for the nation to have two more Democrat morons in the federal government.

As to governor, we at least managed to elect the Republican, and I hope he's more conservative than the one he's replacing.

I didn't look too much at the rest of the nation.  I saw that Byron Donalds won the gubernatorial position in Florida, so that's good.  I hope he takes the baton from DeSantis and does as well.  But overall, a brief  stop at the Daily Wire tells me the nation is in big trouble, and I'm angry about how stupid the voting public is.  There are so many examples in recent history and in current events globally which should have been education enough to ensure massive defeats for the Party of Death...the Democrat Party.

I'm disgusted with the nation, and more so with the thought that perhaps too many center-right voters sat on their asses instead of making sure they cast a vote for the GOP.  I don't know if we're going to have an asshole majority now in the House, but it seems so.  The same may be true for the Senate.  As I said, I didn't look beyond my own state's results.

If in the morning I find my worst fears have come true, I'm not sure I'll want to talk to any friends or family who I know vote Democrat.  If those fears come true, and the assholes cause harm, as they always do, I will certainly let those friends and family members that I blame all those who were stupid enough to put those sons-of-bitches in office.

Just imagine:  "affordability"???  Fuck that.  That's not possible with Democrat control.  They caused the "affordability" problem, so there's no fucking way they'll fix it.  They'll only make it worse.  It's what they do.  And if they take the house and Dollar Store Obama becomes speaker, God help Dem voters if they start up with impeachment crap.

Anyway....I'm ranting (justifiably so) and I will be steeped in prayer and more active locally with the Party, who is not without blame for allowing Dems to win.  But one last thing:

This Darlene Graham-Nordone shit.  I get a temp appointment after the death of her bro.  I didn't vote for him in the primary, but was prepared to vote for him in the general, since he somehow won the primary with well over 60%.  I think had he not been a piece of shit and died, he's have kept his seat.  Once he passed, there's no way Trump should have backed her beyond filling the seat until the election.  Ralph Norman and Congressman Russel Fry each had great ratings as conservatives by the various conservative ranking sites.  Indeed, almost 100% each.  One of them should have been the standard bearer and had that been the case, I feel confident Annie Andrews would not be our Senator for the next six fucking years.  At the same time, there was supposedly a big Ralph Norman write-in campaign, and the percentage I saw suggests that without it, Graham might have been our less than satisfactory Senator.  (Andrews isn't satisfactory at all, and thus a very low bar).

Life goes on.  God is still great and in control, and I will pray more often in Christ's Name that He protects us from ourselves.

Finally, if the assholes take the Senate, Thomas and Alito will have to hang on for at least another two years.
