Leftist Shamefulness: Dan's Troll Edition

This is a special post for an incredible world class scumbag.  Apparently this demented asshole needs so badly to have his vile crap heard, he'll submit an example of his typical low, God-hating character to the comment section of a post about a far better man who is now passed, likely in God's Holy company...a place which is a very unlikely destination for the troll in question.

Someday...

"Prayers for all those who struggle." Is that what you consider "God hating"?

Sorry Vinny. I know you think you're being clever, but I really don't get what your point is. Are you suggesting the scumbag in question is somehow struggling? To do what? Be a bigger scumbag? I don't pray in support of such things. Further, how does the "struggle" manifest in one who seems proud to be the best damned scumbag he can be? Please clarify your position. I'm sure it's really deep.

I don't think I'm being clever. I'm just asking a question. My point is that "prayers for all those who struggle" strikes me as a blandly innocuous piety. At first, I was even unsure that I had found the comment that you were referring to in this post, as I couldn't imagine how it qualified as "vile crap." Neither can I imagine why you think that I am suggesting anything about the commenter's struggles. I assume that the commenter is referring to people other than himself as he would be if he had written "prayers for all those who are sick" or "prayers for all those who suffer."

I'm not understanding why you're asking the question. Who made that specific request? I thought perhaps I forgot someone said in the previous post or its comments section, but I'm not seeing the expression there or here. As to the comment to which I did reference, no, you won't find it here because the scumbag in question rarely finds his comments posted, because he's proven himself to be a scumbag. The comment the scumbag tried to submit was not in the least a manifestation of any degree of piety or Christian brotherhood. It was unjustified and inappropriate snark for a post which was composed in memoriam of one of far better character than he.

As to your question, I don't see any problem with such a request or offering. "Struggle" is most often unpleasant, even if one struggles in doing something one enjoys. I enjoy exercise, but it's a struggle to advance to a hiring level. The struggle can lead to quitting for many in such a situation, which might not be desired. It's a struggle to always act like one is truly Christian (believe me, I know this to be true), and in my case I welcome such prayers, as I pray for such Godly assistance myself.

So I would ask that you provide more detail as to what compelled you to post your initial comment here. It seems clear we're not on the same page.

What compelled my initial comment was a misguided desire to understand this post. You referred to a comment by Dan, but you didn't say that you hadn't allowed that comment through moderation. Since the only comment I saw by Dan was the one that said, "prayers for all those who struggle," I tasked whether that was what you considered "God hating." You could have simply answered, "No. That isn't the comment to which I'm referring."

Well, allow me to provide a helpful hint for future reference: Less cryptic questions. Get right to the point as directly as possible. For example you might have started with, "Is this about something Dan said?" or "To whom are you referring by the expression 'world class scumbag'"?

"You referred to a comment by Dan..."

Clearly I did not. This is blatantly obvious by the title of the post and the fact Dan is not otherwise mentioned anywhere within the post itself.

"Since the only comment I saw by Dan was the one that said, "prayers for all those who struggle," I tasked whether that was what you considered "God hating." You could have simply answered, "No. That isn't the comment to which I'm referring.""

Forgive me. Perhaps it's my advancing age, or perhaps it's the fact that comment appeared in a post three down from this one published at least two weeks ago. In any case, I was totally confused by the suggestion offering prayers...by whomever, whenever and wherever such a request took place...could be considered God-hating by anyone, particularly when I was focusing on the actual point of this post and the scumbag in question. You could not have thrown me off better if you tried.

Also, if I found fault with Dan's comment where it appeared, I would have blocked it from publishing, expressed my concerns right after it or I would have referenced it here if this post was about it. Thus, your initial question suggests something quite out of character considering my history of how I operate.

So now that's all cleared up, I again reiterate this post is not about Dan, but about the world class scumbag some of us refer to as "Dan's troll". This is someone Dan allows to post at his blog despite his tone and total lack of respect for others is routinely far worse than any snarky comment I'm known for posting. He is persona non grata here due to his unquestionably unChristian comments, unjustified arrogance and condescension, desperate attempts to posture as morally and intellectually superior and an incident involving literally one thousand repetitions of the same moronic comment, and a few hundred posted at the blogs of both Craig and Glenn.

(Speaking of struggle, it seems I'm struggling more with typos and remembering to proof read my comments before publishing. "Advance to a 'hiring' level"???? "Higher" was the intended word. Not the only typo in that comment, but the goofiest.)

As I said, attempting to understand your post was clearly a misguided endeavor.

No, Vinny. It was a misguided attempt. Your question referred to a comment from another post from two weeks prior, and somehow I'm at fault for not getting the question? As highly as I think of my own work, blogging isn't all I do in my life. Try being more clear in the future. This will reduce your ability to condescend and find fault, but if understanding is your true intention, you'll be far more likely to get it in shorter order.

You're welcome.
